Our tournaments are run in association with Chess Victoria and provide the opportunity to qualify for the state semi- finals.
Tournaments are run each term and provide a unique experience for students to test their skills in a competitive, regulated and serious environment. It is a great opportunity to provide inspiration, make new friends, and develop sportsmanship.
For the advanced player this is a unique opportunity to meet their match!
For the beginner it is a valuable experience in competition regulated games and promotes aspirations for future development!
Tournament regulated rules are explained at each event. These include strict ‘touch move’ and clock controlled standards.
Prizes are presented in recognition of participant’s efforts at each event. These include certificates of participation and trophies for different age levels.
